Husqvarna offers a range of wire that is ideal for sawing in many different building materials. This well-developed range has been built up based on our extensive knowledge of segment design and wire composition. The segments are constructed so that as they wear down, new diamonds are continually exposed. This ensures efficient, even cutting throughout the service life of the wire. The segments sit on a support cable. The space in between the individual segments consists of injected synthetic rubber, reinforced with a spring. A synthetic rubber wire is very flexible, making it easy to use, as well as minimizing the risk if uneven wear to the wire segments. Husqvarna's new generation of wires has 44 segments per meter. More segments per meter means increased contact between the cutting diamonds and the wire, providing higher speed and increased product life. Also, the distance between segments is smaller, resulting in a more even cut.
