Technical innovations

Our product developers are constantly seeking new, intelligent solutions that improve the products. Several examples of such solutions are the in-house developed air filter, Active Air Filtration, and the Dual Charge technology. Regarding diamond tools we are always working to improve the speed and life cycle of the tools, but also to give them an even more attractive design and find the optimal performance in relation to cost.

Active air filtration

A unique filter technology consisting of three separate filter systems. The first, active – and maintenance-free – stage utilises the centrifugal force of the flywheel to separate 80–90% of the cutting dust from the intake air. The remaining dust gets caught in the next stage, an oil-impregnated adhesive filter. The third stage, a paper filter, forms an additional level of protection, to prevent the cutting dust from entering the engine. Active Air Filtration™ increases the service life of the engine and reduces downtime and service costs.

Active air filtration

Smart carb

Our carburettor with built-in filter compensation, adjusts the fuel- air mixture, so the engine maintains maximum power even when the filters start to get clogged. Together with Active Air Filtration™, SmartCarb™ brings retained high power, better filter economy, lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions.

Dual charge

The secret behind the DualCharge technology is that you use twin flushing ducts: one for clean air and one for the fuel / air mixture.

First, a barrier of clean air presses out the burnt gases, after which the fuel / air mixture is flushed in. The result is a more powerful engine, better fuel economy and a drop in emissions by fully 70%, compared to previous cutter generations. Also, the fuel mixture that passes the main bearings and crank bearings is more concentrated, so it lubricates the engine more effectively.

Poly V-belt

Several of our products are equipped with a Poly V-belt. It lasts longer than a conventional belt, requires less retensioning and provides increased product life and better power transmission.

IntelliSeal

The IntelliSeal blade spindle (patent pending) has four sealed radial bearings for strength and durability. Allows for a minimum of 500 hours maintenance intervals and a 1000 hour limited warranty.

Low vibrations

Our products are developed with focus on reducing vibrations. A few examples are our power cutters with anti-vibration system, which considerably reduces handle vibrations and our floor saws with low vibration handles and special low-vibration engine mount.

Ring cutter

The Husqvarna K 950 Ring is the world’s first petrol-powered cutter to be able to make 260 mm deep cuts with a 350 mm blade. This may seem impossible to anyone who uses standard power cutters, since 350 mm blades can normally only achieve a cutting depth of 125 mm.

However, we have quite simply combined our unique – and patented – RingSaw technology, where the blade is driven from the periphery instead of its centre, with the strong, easy to handle petrol-powered cutter, the Husqvarna K 950.

Cut-n-break

The Husqvarna K 650 Cut-n-Break is a unique cutter with a unique method for cutting deep, up to 400 mm, at an extremely low tooling cost. The K 650 Cut-n-Break has a wide range of applications. Of course it’s ideal for use on window and door openings where you don’t want over cutting at the corners. It’s also very good for cutting
pipes in pipe trenches, for sawing grooves for cabling and expansion joints, and for crack renovation.

CS 2512

Sawing with diamond wire is the most efficient way to remove large concrete constructions such as foundations and bridges, or to make holes in thick walls. The big advantage using our CS 2512 is that there is basically no limit to the depth that can be cut.

Gyro-system

The Husqvarna Gyro is a modular, flexible system with several combination options, where the drill column can be turned 360°, for drilling at almost any angle. Much of the work time spent by an operator goes on setting up and transporting the machine, rig and tools. The Husqvarna Gyro drilling system minimises the workload for each hole drilled. The rig is easily secured between the floor and ceiling, and the ingenious gyro unit allows for drilling in virtually all directions.
